Ecuador: Maersk Line starts operations in Bolivar Port
A ship from the Danish shipping company "Maerks Line" arrived last Saturday at the main pier of Bolívar Port, to start shipping operations of banana tree containers destined to the United States and some European countries.
Wilmer Encalada, manager for the Port Authority in Bolívar Port (APPB), pointed out that it's about an agreement with the multinational to widen market opportunities: "We have a good fruit production in the South area of Ecuador".
